This blog is dedicated to our dear friend, Nosson Deitsch OBM, who was tragically torn away from us on Lag B’Omer 5770.

Nosson was a one-of-a kind Bochur who influenced many people, from all ages and backgrounds. He had a perpetual smile on his face and an extremely generous heart. He would do the biggest favor for a friend with only a moment’s notice. All those who knew him feel they had a unique relationship with him.

There are many untold stories of his selflessness, kindness, and the affect he had on countless lives. Please share your story, so that others can get a glimpse into his unique character and towering accomplishments.

Dancing with Nosson

By Zalman Friedman

Nosson It is so hard to speak about you in past tense. I keep thinking that you can now see me.
The first time I really met Nosson was in London, I was a Shaliach in the Yeshivah there the year before he leaned there and I came back to London in the middle of the next year for a Bar Mitzvah of a boy that I learned with while i was there. I remember talking to him and it was such a Geshmak to talk to him he was so Friendly. and since then every time that i would see him he always had that warm smile. The last time that I remember meeting him was last year I was in California for my brothers shmulik's wedding and i met him in the Bagel shop in LA (he seemed like a regular there..) he said to me then that its so nice to see you here, we had a nice shmooze there. He told me that he would come dance at the wedding but he didn't end up coming, so Nosson if you are reading this I am still waiting to dance with you...
