This blog is dedicated to our dear friend, Nosson Deitsch OBM, who was tragically torn away from us on Lag B’Omer 5770.

Nosson was a one-of-a kind Bochur who influenced many people, from all ages and backgrounds. He had a perpetual smile on his face and an extremely generous heart. He would do the biggest favor for a friend with only a moment’s notice. All those who knew him feel they had a unique relationship with him.

There are many untold stories of his selflessness, kindness, and the affect he had on countless lives. Please share your story, so that others can get a glimpse into his unique character and towering accomplishments.

Nosson was my headwaiter in CGI Parksville ,

He was very good, and very nice to me. Once, on a Shabbos, I asked the Mishnayos Ba'al Peh director if Nosson can test my on Shabbos, because my learning teacher couldn't test me. So he said yes, and I asked Nosson if he could test me. Of course, with a smile on his face, he said "Sure!" So, he started testing me. He tested me on two P'rokim of Tanya - Perek Daled and Hei. Perek Daled, I did good, but Perek Hei, I had a few mistakes. By my 4th mistake, he told me: "Mendel, this is the way you should be saying Tanya. (He gave me the Tanya and said Perek Hei, Vav and Zayin with no mistakes!!! And then he said:) "Mendel, that's the way you should be saying Tanya!" I was seriously amazed!!!!
