Remembering Nosson

By Anonymous

I never thought I'd be sitting here having to write this. Nosson was always so full of life, it's just too sad to think he's not with us anymore. I first met Nosson last year in LA. I was in Mesivtah and he was a Shliach in zal but he has a way of being friends with everybody. Over the year I made a personal connection with him. He was always there if you needed someone to talk to. He had this chayos in him that well only someone like Nosson can have. His smile was always on his face that just seeing him would make you put one on your face. He was really special and I dearly miss him.
One particular story I can recall is when Nosson used to eat over our house shabbosim, which would usually evolve into a farbrengen until late at night. He would always exclaim to my father in his lively vibrant tone if what a z'chus it is that his kids always stay for farbrengens around the table. But thinking back at it, it was a z'chus just to have you. He used to explain to me the importance of tanya when he'd come over, but I always just brushed it off. Now however I started learning Tanya every day. I know it will make you proud.
No matter what was going on you always had this smile on your face. You were able to teach someone wrong from right like only you can. If i would ever have a problem and confront you, or even if you just saw that I was feeling down you would come over and speak to me, hear me out. No matter how down I was, if I'd speak to you with your smile you always manage to lift my spirits.
Nosson you showed me what it meant to be a true chassidishe bochur and at the same time be able to have fun. You'd always make sure to call me in the summer to set up chavrusah's to make sure I'd learn something. You were really an amazing neshamah and we will never forget you.
