This blog is dedicated to our dear friend, Nosson Deitsch OBM, who was tragically torn away from us on Lag B’Omer 5770.

Nosson was a one-of-a kind Bochur who influenced many people, from all ages and backgrounds. He had a perpetual smile on his face and an extremely generous heart. He would do the biggest favor for a friend with only a moment’s notice. All those who knew him feel they had a unique relationship with him.

There are many untold stories of his selflessness, kindness, and the affect he had on countless lives. Please share your story, so that others can get a glimpse into his unique character and towering accomplishments.

Golden heart!

By anonymous

I have many stories about Nosson but for now I'll start with one that happened this past week.
I asked Nosson if he had to learn with me he then told me that he was so sorry much more apoligetic then he had top be, then I said Noson its ok we'll learn some other time and that he doesnt have to be so sorry, he then said no let me explain there is a new bocher in yeshiva who is looking for a chavrusah in the morning and he asked so many different bochrim if he can learn them and how it just takes a little bit of extra effort to learn with someone and that if people would be a bit more sensitive to other people they could make someone feel so much more welcome and how hard he has been trying to look for a chavrusah for this certain bocher, and that he wants to reassure me that it was nothing personal and that he understand how frustrating finding a partner to learn with is sometimes (for example the new bocher) and how I should know how much he wish's he could learn with everyone but he cant but because of his stress's of smicha deadlines he just cant and it truly bothered him. that was Nosson sensitive to a inexplicable extreme!
