This blog is dedicated to our dear friend, Nosson Deitsch OBM, who was tragically torn away from us on Lag B’Omer 5770.

Nosson was a one-of-a kind Bochur who influenced many people, from all ages and backgrounds. He had a perpetual smile on his face and an extremely generous heart. He would do the biggest favor for a friend with only a moment’s notice. All those who knew him feel they had a unique relationship with him.

There are many untold stories of his selflessness, kindness, and the affect he had on countless lives. Please share your story, so that others can get a glimpse into his unique character and towering accomplishments.

Shabbos Mevarchim Tehillim

By BP

One of the many things Nosson A"H "Koched" in was the Takana of the Freideke Rebbe to recite the entire Tehillim on Shabbos Mevarchim morning.
He would rise especially early, wake up his Friends, and say tehillim with great enthusiasm, but he did not stop there, he would actively campaign the night before, reminding everyone of the importance of the recitation of Tehillim, (it has an effect on your children and grandchildren), and that when The Rebbe would enter 770 for Shabbos Mevarchim Tehillim, he would glance around to see who had made the effort to come.
As tomorrow is Shabbos Mevarchim, i would like to humbly suggest that everyone make a effort to arise early, wake up a friend or two. And say the whole Tehillim before davineng, learn Chasidus, and daven "vi a Yid" (as Nosson put it).
May the merit of our good deeds in Nosson's memory, hasten the coming of moshiach now
