I had gotten to know Nosson when he was a camper in Gan Israel Montreal. He was about 11 years old. He had a softness to him not many kids running free in camp have. I was his waiter. I remember him being very popular with his bunk mates. Everyone always wanted to sit next to him and when ever he needed something from the kitchen, he would ask for it in such a kind way it made me want to get it for him. Nosson was able to influence people in such a way that he would bring together two people who never knew each other before and without realizing it, make them friends. He did this to me and until this day his brother and I are friends.
In the years after camp Nosson was always respectful and sincere. Whenever we would bump into each other, either in shul or on the street he always had a smile and a nice hello.
When the camp staff are the ones who should be inspiring the campers, you Nosson have inspired me. Daven for us Nosson, learn for us Nosson and help us up there like you help us down here. I will never forget you Nosson. Thank you for being a part of my life.
