This blog is dedicated to our dear friend, Nosson Deitsch OBM, who was tragically torn away from us on Lag B’Omer 5770.

Nosson was a one-of-a kind Bochur who influenced many people, from all ages and backgrounds. He had a perpetual smile on his face and an extremely generous heart. He would do the biggest favor for a friend with only a moment’s notice. All those who knew him feel they had a unique relationship with him.

There are many untold stories of his selflessness, kindness, and the affect he had on countless lives. Please share your story, so that others can get a glimpse into his unique character and towering accomplishments.

Time for Everyone

By Shmaya Krinsky

When i was told about this blog, i started to think about all the good times I've had with him. The last time i saw Nosson was about a month or so ago. I was walking on Kingston ave. and met him. I could tell that he was in a rush and didn't want to hassle him. i said hello as i approached him . He stopped and with a huge smile started to ask me how school was and how I was doing. I didn't want to waste his time and tried to keep the conversation short but he kept asking questions. That’s how i remember Nosson. A happy person who cared about everybody he met. Always making you feel welcome and safe. It's hard to write this without crying. I read the posts people have made and I learn more about whom he was and how special he was. About his learning, his generosity, his personality, and what he stood for. I took a lot of hachlatas that Nosson stood for, and will keep them as long as I can. The way Nosson cared about other people; i only can wish to attain that level. I was reading some post on Crownheights.info and such other sites and all the post and comments that I found all said how Nosson had a smile on his face at all times. And although it sounds childish, i knew that when it was raining by the levya , that Nosson was laughing at us for standing in the rain. Nosson, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for impacting my life. I hope that we will soon see each other again with the rebuilding of the Beis Hamikdash and the coming of Moshiach speedily RIGHT NOW!!!! Ad Mosai when will it END!!!!!
